Sunday Special Freebie 5th of January 2014.

Morning all,

Another Sunday, another freebie. The first Sunday Special Freebie for 2014!

I hope you have all enjoyed the festive season and I hope 2014 will be a fabulous year for all of you. As last year, I'm planning to continue with 3 days of freebies every week. These as before will be:

  • The 'Thursday Freebie'
  • The 'A Sentiment for the Saturday'
  • The 'Sunday Special Freebie'
Other good intentions (craft wise) for the next year are:

  • to try to create at least one new stamp every week
  • to try to create at least one new paper pack every month
  • to get my website up and running properly, so you possibly could even buy some of my products in the future. Please bear with me for this one, it's quite a big task for someone who also has a full time job to contend with.
  • and of course most importantly: to continue to have fun doing all this!
So, now to the first Sunday Special Freebie of 2014, hope you like it. For those of you who already managed to put their hands on the star easel card templates, an envelope to go with them. The envelopes need to be printed on A4 paper, cut out and then stuck together. I created these to have some envelopes to use for the easel cards I already had ready for sending last year.

If you open the file in a image editor, you could even fill in the address section of the envelope before printing. Enjoy!

Friday Freebie 22nd of November 2013.

Morning all,

It's Friday and time for another freebie. I know, this is not the usual fact, but I thought it would be a good idea to try to get you a freebie every day this month to celebrate my 50th birthday earlier this month.

This time I have a Star Easel card sheet for you,

Sorry, this no longer is a freebie!

Don't forget the current challenge on this blog.

Quick reminder!

There are not many entries to my current challenge so far (only one). The challenge is to make a shaped card or use the inspiration picture provided and you are to use one of my products for this challenge as well. If you scroll down, there is actually a template for a shaped card in last week's (Thursday's) post, this should make life quite easy I guess. You can find the challenge here.

Hope to see you here.

Just to put you even more on your way (as a very early Christmas present), here is another freebie for a shaped easel card.

If you have difficulty putting it together, have a look at a tutorial for a different easel card sheet I have done (flower), which can be found here.

So, come on, there are no more excuses not to join in. Hope to see some more entries very soon!

Love,

Jo.

Got some new digi's.

Hello everyone,

I have been crafting today, just doing things I enjoy. I have created some digis ready for coming Christmas as well as making some cards using some of my new Easel card templates. I have included one of these templates as a freebie on this post. You are in luck today, lol.

For inspiration for these images I have used 2 facts. The first is that my dad-in-law loves tennis, the second that my mum-in-law likes tigers. As I felt that penguins are just so cute for Christmas cards, I have used that as well. So, here we go.

These digis will be entered at Digital Drawing Challenges!!

Tennis Penguin

Tennis Tiger

Snow tennis

Just to give you an idea of what can be done with these digis, here are some of the cards I did today.

(using Penguin Tennis and one of my Heart Easel card sheets)

(using Snow Tennis and one of my Star Easel card sheets)

(using Tiger Tennis and another of my Star Easel card sheets)

And here is the promised freebie, one of my Star Easel card sheets. Feel free to use it for your personal use, but please do not claim it as your own. If you would like to share it with anyone, please just point people in the direction of my blog instead. Enjoy!

Instructions for use:

* Cut out all components (after printing it onto A4 good quality card obviously, lol).
* Fold the double star image along the scored lines (the unfolded star shape forms the base where it rests on).
* Layer the smaller stars onto the large (pink) star and stick them to it.
* Stick these onto the folded point of the double star.
* Add a brad or similar after perforating the little green circle on the base.
* Add one of the sentiments or one of your own.
* Add your own image of choice.
* Put it up as done with the cards above.
* Done!

Thanks for looking, all comments very welcome and much appreciated. Enjoy the rest of your weekend (I understand we are to expect some snow here in the UK this weekend)

Love,

Jo.
